Jingyi is receiving the Summer Research Award.

Jingyi is receiving the Summer Undergraduate Research Award from the Purdue University Center for Cancer Research.  Her project aims to develop a microfluidic tumor platform to investigate the drug resistance mechanisms of triple negative breast cancers.  Congratulation!

New Members in Fall 2016

Anna Zhuang starts her PhD study from this fall.  Anna is not totally new, and has been performing research in the group via SURF from the College of Engineering, and Bottomley Undergraduate Research Scholarship from the School of Mechanical Engineering. Jingyi Qin also joins the group for her undergraduate research.

2016 Hawkins Lecture: Suhas Patankar

Professor Suhas Patankar from the University of Minnesota, 2016 Hawkins Lecturer because of his contribution to computational heat transfer, visited Purdue from 9/21-23 and delivered talks about his research on cooling data center.  Professor Patankar was Han’s instructor of “Numerical Heat Transfer” when he was a PhD student at the University of Minnesota.

A special issue of ACS Molecular Pharmaceutics, entitled “Physics-Inspired Micro/Nanotherapeutics: Same Problem, Different Approaches,” is now available here.  Han is the Guest Editor of the issue.
