Dr. Ozcelikkale, who starts his faculty appointment at METU Mechanical Engineering, receives a prestigious grant from TUBITAK (Turkish NSF) to establish his lab and begin a project on cancer immunotherapy modeling on a microfluidic platform. It is called TUBITAK 2232: International Fellowship for Outstanding Researchers. This is currently the biggest grant given to an individual researcher in Turkey.
